About us
Ultramarine is a Margate-based floral design and styling studio, founded by Gemma Pearce. Inspired by her coastal surroundings, local community, and love of colour, Gemma creates playful, offbeat florals paired with thoughtfully curated tablescapes.
With a background in design, fabric buying, and prop styling for photo shoots, videos, and events, Gemma has spent years collaborating with clients to bring creative visions to life. This experience now extends beyond floristry into wedding and event styling, with a particular focus on layered, characterful table settings that combine flowers, textiles, and objects in a cohesive way.
Her instinct for materials, texture, and colour informs every project, resulting in work that feels contemporary, distinctive and considered.
Ultramarine specialises in wedding floristry and tablescape styling, as well as event installations and creative commissions. We welcome briefs and collaborations. The studio is based at Resort Studios in the heart of Cliftonville, Margate.
